I guess we’ll blog.
Maybe some of you wonder what has happened to me. I presume mostly not.
I’m still here. Still raising Clayton. Still patiently awaiting Greg’s return from South Korea. Still passionate about running.
I rarely read The Loop anymore. Not that I don’t miss the people. I guess I just feel disconnected. Mostly I think I lack the time. That and I haven’t been running.
I had been running. I was about 3 1/2 weeks into RC’s Pete Pfitzinger running program and then I started a second job. Working overnights 2-3 days a week. It sucked but it only lasted for two months and it’s over now. It was part of my quest to fund Christmas and my trip to South Korea without putting us into financial overload. While it made us a bunch of extra money it pretty much wiped me out for a while.
As for that South Korea trip, it was supposed to go down in the end of February but apparently gunnery has been scheduled for that time period so now we have to try to reschedule for the end of March and hope we get approved in sufficient time to change my flight.
I miss you. I miss the interaction with people that love what I love. I get Garbanzo’s blogs still. You see, wordpress is cool because you can subscribe and get your favorite blogs via email. I read him everywhere. On my way to the car on lunch break, while I’m trying to wake up, and just about anywhere else (OMG, about to win a KitchenAid mixer on ebay.) So, I read him all the time. Even if I don’t comment on his blogs, I read and smile, laugh, or shed whatever other emotion is triggered at the time. I wish SFS would subscribe to wordpress……hint, hint. I miss (OMG I won!!!! Greg, I just spent 300+ dollars on a mixer that was acutally 500+ dollars. I will make you lots of cookies to make up for it….and shredded chicken….I will make lots of shredded chicken!) In all seriousness though I miss everyone. EVERYONE!
